Raise your hand if you want the dregs of society providing you service.

Do not be mistaken, most jobs that these future astronauts will be able to obtain will be in the service industry.

Life under current norms is already unaccetable. We should not try to make it unbearable.

I believe that if one wants tax payer gibs, one must work in a local, state, or federal work program doing the jobs that have been labeled as those that Americans won't do. This would eliminate the argument for unskilled foreign workers being a necessity.

[SS being Schwarze Sonne rather than Schutzstaffel.](https://files.catbox.moe/n7j5ed.jpg)

Some years ago [I posted to /v/Cooking how I started to use the stringy ends of my asparagus harvest for soup stock.](https://www.voat.xyz/viewpost?postid=625faef962076) It's that time of year again, and I'm fortunate to be harvesting pounds.

I tried to using black decorating gel in some heavy cream, but it was quickly apparent it was going to take way too much coloring. Then I tried just squeezing the gel into the soup, but it just sank. So apologies, I used plain heavy cream and it's a white sun instead of black sun, and I'm a bad artist.

Kept it simple, asparagus stock, more fresh spears to thicken, nutmeg from a 20+ year old shaker, lemon juice, salt, pepper, cooked then used an immersion blender. Tasted damn good.

Watching the Signal chat with Hegseth kerfuffle unfold, it occurred to me that you don't need to chain a briefcase to a dead homeless guy and drop him off a coastline from a submarine to fool the enemy. One simply needs to "accidently" provide information to folks who are totally concerned about America's safety and within hours if not minutes the subterfuge is in play.

If that wasn't the original intent in this case, I'd bet it could still be used quite a few times before the ploy was revealed.

In another post someone referenced socks being too tight. My mind immediately goes to Van Halen's Hot For Teacher video with Waldo saying his socks are too tight. I've gone decades using the excuse that my socks are too tight because of that video. And yet, when I go to watch that video now, fucking Waldo says his socks are too loose. This isn't a Mandela Effect, it's fuckery.

Yeah...it's a fucking jewtube video; deal with it.

Mass deportation plans are starting out on the wrong foot imho.     (whatever)

You've got Homan saying mass deportations are 'Going to start right here in Chicago' and he's having talks with the mayor in NYC. Fuck those cities, they need to get to the back of the line.

After sealing the border, you start with widespread rural roundups. Clean up small town America where the difference between neighbors and invaders is more apparent. This will give deportation centers time to figure shit out as they begin operations rather than deluging them. Then as invaders are cleared and flee from rural areas to the cities you clean up the suburbs, further driving invaders into the arms of the liberal run major cities for sanctuary. At that point the strain on the cities being overrun might even make the city leaders cooperative, but if not you'd still have the illegals in a corner to be scooped up.

In short, leave these large liberal sanctuary cities to suffer the consequences of mass illegal immigration until the rest of the country is cleaned up.

[Border Patrol Seizes Enough Fentanyl to Kill 250 Million People](https://www.newsweek.com/border-patrol-largest-fentanyl-seizure-arizona-1933555)

This was a single seizure. Why is there less than 100,000 deaths yearly due to fentanyl when it's likely enough is entering the US to kill over a billion if 2mg or even 5mg is considered lethal? Even if daily users are being cautious with doses, they'd only be putting the tiniest dent in the supply. Where is it all going? Even if they're exaggerating the potency it seems there shouldn't be any addicts left at this point. Is this some kind of false flag where (((officials))) are funding cartels to send over ridiculous amounts of drugs for an ulterior motive and then just trash the stuff?

What do Russia and Dixie have in common?     (whatever)

Many know, but it's worth repeating; jews. Start out with anything imperfect but healthy, add the jew virus, and before you know it everything is fucked.

The jew virus is like some other viruses by acting as it's part of the healthy system to gain access. And like other viruses, once its damage is discovered and combatted it mutates and moves on to its next victim.

It's no secret that jews are largely, if not wholly responsible for introducing the worst invasive species to ever reach the Americas; the nigger. When their shekel machines became outdated, the virus mutated and began to accuse the Christian southern man as the worst thing ever.

The virus also infected Russia and began to spread. Again, once the damage was discovered it mutated, denouncing the diseased nation and what remained of its people. Russia would also become the worst thing ever. Of course, not before labeling the nation that fought the active infection the worst thing ever.

Every nation that combats the infection is eventually accused of being the worst thing ever. The virus continues to camoflauge itself into new hosts, convincing the new host to eradicate the old infected host to prevent an outbreak of the maladies it created. The virus kills by proxy.

I put up lights on the house and decorations in the front yard today. Just so happened that today was also the day the local fire department was driving Santa through the neighborhood in a ladder truck while hitting the siren to let kids know he was coming down the street. Santa would engage with the kids who came running up, and he'd wave and give a nice, loud Merry Christmas to those out doing whatever. As he drove past we exchanged waves and greetings, I thought "fuckin' a right" and was glad I live in this town.

I've been watching some old game shows, finding interest in audience behavior, products, prices, and commercials. These days no one is giving away fur coats, commercials for fresh breath aren't targeted towards women who want their man to kiss them, and moms are always portrayed as homemakers.

So, I had a total wtf? moment at 6:59 in the show; isn't this from 1972? But all was made clear at the end of the commercial.

For a laugh at lack of awareness. Check out the bidding at
1:50 - surprise! it's your turn
8:50 - you said you were ready
15:08 - just 10

Wife points out there's water in an area of the floor. Fuck. AC drain line clogged and it's overflowing. This happened before at our prior house, except it was leaking down from the attic that time. Since then I try to remember to occassionally pour bleach down the drain line to help keep it clear. Well, I forgot to do that the past year or more.

Ounce of prevention and all that shit.

He points to a stone wall surrounding a church. "Aye lad, you see that stone wall? I built it with me own hands. But, do they call me Fergus the stone-mason? No.

"And look there! You see all the tables and benches in that park? I built them with me own hands. But, do they call me Fergus the carpenter? No.

Pomegranate!     (files.catbox.moe)

Was out mowing the yard when a bit of red caught my eye on the pomegranate bush. I bought a couple bare root plants a few years back, basically looked like a little stick with some roots dangling off the end. One didn't make it through the first winter, but the other kept struggling back the past few years. The bush is now a little over 6 feet tall, and this is the first time it's flowered/fruited. I'm pretty pysched about it. Hopefully, I'll have a picture to share this fall of a mature fruit.

The no recipe, recipe, for Yorkshire pudding.     (Cooking)

My wife loves the things. She also hates fat on her steak. Perfect. I say this is a no recipe because there's not any specific measurements needed.

Step 1:
Cut the fat off your steak, and chop it into smaller chunks. Put it in a small pot on medium to low heat and let the fat render down. Pour it off into a something using a napkin or paper towel as a filter to catch the bits. At this point, you can use what you need and the rest seems to store forever in the fridge. As they say, this can be done well in advance.

Step 2:
Mix equal parts, eggs, flour, milk. That's it. If you're using a 12 hole muffin pan, I find one egg equals around three holes. So, 4 eggs go into the measuring cup, match the same amount of milk and flour, and you have enough for twelve. Here's where you can go a few ways. Let it rest, refrigerate it, use it right away. If you want a cup shape for holding gravy or other goodness use cold batter, or a more hollow puffy result use warm. Side note: I came across this seasoning the other year, Everglades Seasoning (the all-purpose original), it's super salty, so you don't need much, but it's great to add. I'm not a sponsor, I just like it. Otherwise, a bit of salt does the trick. I also throw in some herbs at times. Mix in the seasoning just before cooking.

Step 3:
Add about a 1/8 tsp of the fat, or whatever oil you have, to each muffin cup. Throw it in the oven and preheat to 450F. When the oven beeps that it's at temp, pull the pan out, pour in the batter around half full for each cup, and put back in oven for 20 minutes. This works for me using beef fat. You want the pan and oil to be smoking hot when the batter hits, but not burnt hot. If you're using other oils keep an eye on it to figure out how long it needs to heat up. You may need to preheat oven first, and then pan and oil.

Give them a peek after 20 minutes, maybe they need a little more time, maybe not. Serve right away. If not, put on cooling rack so they bottoms don't get over done sitting in the pan.

Enjoy!

tldr: Use equal parts eggs, milk, flour, with some seasoning. Pour into lightly oiled and piping hot muffin cups and bake at 450F for 20 minutes.

Stringy asparagus ends; an experiment.     (files.catbox.moe)

submitted by WillisJaxson to Cooking 3.2 years ago

I've been harvesting my asparagus the past few weeks. If I miss a day of cutting, the spears go over a foot long. This leaves you with at best 1/3 of the spear being tender enough for most recipes, the snapped off ends being stringy. I do not like wasting food.

I've watched a bunch of videos on how to turn asparagus ends into soup/broth, and have cooked them in the past. Most all involved an immersion blender to chop up the stems and then press the results through a wire sieve. This left very small, but nonetheless, pieces of sawdust feeling bits of the woody bits in the end result.

I was lucky enough to get a food processor last Christmas that has a plastic dough blade attachment. The thought hit me that maybe if I used the plastic dough blades to beat the stems rather than a metal one to chop them, maybe I could get the good stuff with less of the bad. So, I boiled the stems, let them cool, and gave it try.

I hope you can see in the picture the results were great. The woody stems are hollowed out and ready for the compost pile. Tonight was my first attempt at this method; so I'll guess your results may vary, as mine might in the future. My soup turned out great and didn't last long enough for pictures.
