Crazy prices, considering the dead crickets are only $29.95 /lb. Who can afford to switch from beef when the bugs are up to 10X more expensive?
They cracked one open so I could sniff. The odor of the dead crickets could be the basis of a weight loss program. Pretty much smelled like several hundred dead crickets, if you can imagine. Not sure toasting would help.
Claire Robinson, managing editor of GMWatch, told The Defender that Bayer's gene-edited mustard greens have not been examined for health or environmental risks.
"They could contain toxins or allergens," she said. "We just don't know."
"And why anyone would want to genetically modify mustard greens to make them less, well, mustardy, is a complete mystery to me.”
jewing the food supply with an egregious amount of pesticides, increasing exponentially since 2016. If it wasn't for monocultures, you would barely need this many herbicides, insecticides and pesticides.

In the beginning I was using only mayo with chicken sandwich. When I tried it with some salt added, it tastes way better. What about you? Do you like salt added besides sauces?
Okay this has been buggin me for years. Is there a reason why when I cut vegetables they tend to fly off in different directions? I'm using a really sharp knife and a wooden cutting board that I keep extremely clean. Maybe I have a poltergeist in my kitchen I dunno.
(Also I did not know there was a food subverse.) Cheers and happy Friday everyone!
I've been making hot choccy using milk and cocoa powder. And one day while cooking up some beef I looked at the cocoa powder and recalled that chocolate in south america is used in stews and meat dishes. So I sprinkled a bit onto the ground beef. And it was fucking good. So I always add a dash of cocoa powder to my ground beef now. Give it a try and you will not regret.
PS I'm talking about actual cocoa powder not the shit with sugar.
